About
Shri Immadi Siddharameshwara Swamiji ascended as the leader of "Akhila Karnataka Bhovi Gurupeetha" on August 22, 2010, previously known as Shri Nijaguneshwara Swamiji. Born into a spiritual family to Hanumathappa and Sarojamma, with an elder sister, Swamiji completed his primary education in Davanagere and received "Lingadeeksha" in 1998 from the late Shri Siddharameshwara Swamiji.
During Basava Jayanti on April 19, 1999, under the guidance of Dr. Shivamurthy Murugha Swamiji, he received "Khavideeksha" and was renamed Shri Immadi Siddharameshwara Swamiji. He pursued his high school and college studies at S.J.M. Education Institute in Chitradurga, gaining expertise in literature and religious texts. Afterward, he embarked on the "Shri Siddharameshwara Sandesha Yatre," traveling extensively across Karnataka to promote the religious, social, cultural, and educational development of the Bhovi Community.
Annually, on his birthday, Swamiji honors talented students as "Bright of Future" awardees and recognizes newly elected Bhovi Community members in local government. He conducts workshops for these officials to address community concerns effectively.
Swamiji has established numerous educational institutions throughout Karnataka, offering free education and hostel facilities to underprivileged students. He actively engages in debunking superstitions during his village visits, notably contributing to the cessation of animal sacrifices in several areas.
His efforts culminate annually in the Bhovi Samavesha, attended by over 100,000 people, including the Chief Minister and other dignitaries. Recognizing his contributions, the Karnataka Government established the "Bhovi Development Corporation."
Jagadguru Sri Immadi Siddharameshwara Swamiji is affiliated with Sri Jagadguru Siddharameshwara Mahasamsthanam, Bhovi Gurupeetha, located in Bagalkot, Karnataka. This spiritual institution focuses on religious and social service activities, including initiatives like lake rejuvenation and community welfare programs. While the Mahasamsthanam maintains an online presence, it currently does not have a dedicated website.
